Growing up in Youngstown, Ohio as the grandson of steel mill workers, Jeremy Bolyard learned at a young age the value of hard work, education, and dedication. Jeremy forged a strong work ethic and a passion for people and public service. This passion carried over into the military where Jeremy initially enlisted into the United States Army immediately after high school as a combat medic and served at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and overseas at Honduras for a six-month deployment.
This passion for service culminated in a military service career with over 23 years of active and reserve military service. Jeremy retired from the military in 2014 at the rank of Major and after multiple combat deployments to Afghanistan and Iran. As a combat veteran, Jeremy took benet of the experiences gained over the course of his military career and applied those to the public sector working for multiple governmental agencies at the local, state, and federal levels.
His ability to make people feel at ease, as well as his ability to think outside the box has earned him a stellar reputation for his commitment to people and professional service. Jeremy has enjoyed being a resident of Oklahoma City for the past 25 years. When he’s not busy enjoying the outdoors hiking and fishing at the lake, he spends his time with his wife, Stephenie, his son Landon, and their two dogs.
