A native New Yorker, Marcy completed her bachelor's at Ithaca College, majoring in physical therapy and minoring in gerontology. She earned her MBA from State University in Buffalo. In her 30+ year career, Marcy worked in health care as a physical therapist and a hospital administrator. More recently, she enjoyed educating children at a local middle school, where she was 2020 Teacher of the Year.

Marcy loves volunteering her time. She's currently on the board of directors for the Port Orange Community Trust. She resides locally with her husband, two children, and many family pets.
